The past 6 and 7 of June in the Basic School Happy Home of Tunja was made the closure of the activities of the Interactive Learning Platform project -PIA-, with the assistance of the members of the Program of comprehensive care for the population with disabilities of the Municipality of Tuta. This project was advanced by the students of Electronic Engineering Daniela Fernanda Barón Sarmiento and Vivianne Estefanía Niño Vega, with the support of Andrés Álvarez and Angelica Salazar.
A team from the Universidad Santo Tomas Tunja Section led by Father Jorge Ferdinando Rodríguez Ruiz, OP, Rector, met in recent days at Club Boyacá, with executives of Acerías Paz del Río to advance the signing of an agreement with a validity of 20 years between the two institutions; Among the main activities to be developed are research projects, social projection, training strategies and the development of professional practices by students in the steel industry.

The Universidad Santo Tomás Tunja Section congratulates María Paula González Pérez, a graduate of the School of Business Administration, who received her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Colima in the degree ceremony of last Friday's 22 in June. This degree is given thanks to the agreement that currently exists between the USTA and said Mexican university.
This Friday 15 of June, the professors of the Departments attached to the Academic Vice-Chancellor met in the Teaching Faculty, a space for reflection on the mission of teachers in vocational training. During the day, Dr. Milton Bautista Roa, Director of the Curricular Development and Teacher Training Unit of the University, reminded the audience of the ten curricular challenges of the academic departments, such as: among them, the appropriation of the Institutional linkages, bilingualism and lifelong learning as strategies for qualifying teaching work.
